电磁流量计应用领域广泛。大口径仪表较多应用于给排水工程。 中小口径常用于固液双相等难测流体或高要求场所，如测量造纸工业纸浆和黑液、有色冶金业的矿浆、选煤厂的煤浆等。
流量计种类很多，不同的介质对应不同的流量计，非要说电磁流量计性能是很好的，而超声波流量计性能是不好的，不能这样定论，选择一款流量计有好多的标准，所以我们要区别对待。
